Welcome to iJoin, the leading 401(k) platform for retirement plan advisors. The iJoin participant experience opens with your welcome message and shows users immediately whether they’re on track to reach their retirement income goals. We can estimate this because our integration with the recordkeeping platform fuels our proprietary calculator that considers a person’s age, gender, income, plan savings, their outside savings, Social Security benefits, state taxes, and many more factors in estimating their unique retirement income need and whether they’re on track to reach it. iJoin presents recommendations to maximize employer match and to help people close the savings gap and shows them the impact these changes will have on their paycheck.

But iJoin does more than make suggestions. Once the user confirms contribution or allocation changes, these instructions are automatically reported back to the recordkeeping platform so that success is not dependent upon the user logging in somewhere else to update their settings or preferences. iJoin’s managed account program presents an easy-to-understand, manage-it-for-me option that monitors and adjusts allocations and performs auto rebalancing as each person’s situation changes over time.

The program may be configured as an opt-in or as the plan’s default. Either way, you have the ability to offer employers a cost-effective program that works seamlessly with your choice of iJoin-managed account partners, who may build a fund menu based on your investment lineup or provide a turnkey solution. The choice is yours.

And, through the managed account, participants may elect to convert a portion of their savings balances to guaranteed retirement income to cover essential expenses in retirement. This not only takes risk off the table, it helps assure better long-term outcomes.

Your advisor dashboard shows you information across all of your plans, as well as participant details within each plan. You’ll always know who is on track and who needs help. Plan success metrics support your effort and outreach. Share these insights with plan committees to demonstrate progress on employees reaching their goals and the steps you’re taking to help them get there.

ACT, iJoin’s communication and engagement engine, makes it easy for you to customize and send your branded messages to all participants in all plans or targeted messages to participants who need a timely reminder or encouragement based on their activity, their balance, age, or other criteria. Engagement’s all about reinforcing the quality of your relationship, how you help, and to help you demonstrate value as you encourage positive actions. We extend engagement with EXPLORE, our integrated education and financial wellness component. As a native extension of the participant experience, it accesses the same participant data.

We use this to present a personalized rather than generic dialogue to each user. It’s always their information and story and any changes they make in EXPLORE are reported back to iJoin and the recordkeeping platform to update and optimize their path. EXPLORE helps users understand and create a realistic budget, take steps to get out of debt, and make sure they’re taking full advantage of their savings path by maximizing their company match and including outside assets in their retirement picture. And they never have to log into a third-party system to learn to take action or update their account.
